Space Monkey
There’s no winlines in outer space, are you mad? Instead there are 1,024 ways to win when you play this 5-reel online slot, meaning the likelihood of making a discovery is incredibly high. Despite there being no ‘set lines’, you’ll still need to make a winning combination from left to right and have them adjacent to one another; basically, there can’t be any gaps in between the combinations.
Players can match between three and five of the tiles, with five always being the most valuable grouping of all. The difficulty of this title is reduced when compared with some of Spade Gaming’s others, so you probably won’t end up pulling your hair out in frustration. Not that that will make the losses easier to handle, but at least you can moan to your crew mates when they happen.
Free Games Attack!
When you’re playing Space Monkey, you will get attacked by an oncoming tide of free games, triggered by the finding of at least three or more of the scatter symbols. How many spins you get is entirely down to how many tiles you find, with 20 being the maximum amount you can hope to gain. Should the mission go less than smoothly, and you end up only matching three of the symbols, the volume of spins will be reduced down to just 5 rounds.
These waves are fun in and of themselves as they’re played without taking any money from about your person, but then you have the added bonus of both wilds showing up. In the base game there is a normal wild, but in the feature there’s another that comes from the burning inferno of the rocket’s exhaust.
This bonus wilds can show up on the second, third and fourth reels alongside the base game tile. They will substitute all symbols except for the scatter, but as there’s two lots of them working together, you’re more likely to experience some greater returns and on a more regular basis.
Aliens Are Everywhere
A lot of the time you won’t come up against anything greater than a card suit tile, but should you be hunted down by a horde of aliens, your fight for victory will become a lot tougher. These raids, while unexpected, can help you locate some high quality prizes, with the brown one-eyed monster being the most rewarding at 250 credits.
There are only three lots of aliens that can sneak attack you, but should your monkey space cadet turn up in the nick of time, you’ll be walking away with between 100 and 1,000 coins. This isn’t the highest amount that Spade Gaming has ever offered, but with a low pay-in of only 0.40, it seems more than a fair sum of money.
Destination: Earth
You can’t stay up in the heavens forever, sooner or later you have to come crashing back down and go about your life. You have bills to pay and the monkey has zoos to visit. Not to worry though, as you’ll always have the memories of Space Monkey and the time when you saved the world from an alien invasion.
