A man who allegedly ran an illegal blackjack game in Malaysia broke his ankle after jumping out of a second-floor window to try to escape police when they raided the gambling den.

Law enforcement surveilled the property for about a week before executing a search warrant in the early hours of Monday, arresting 19 people for gambling offenses. They also seized playing cards and over RM52,800 ($12,269) in cash.
The police chief explained in a press conference that the man who jumped out a back window broke his ankle, and they believe he was running the game with his girlfriend. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment.
