Three men have been arrested by police after allegedly throwing a grenade and firing shots into a casino in Cambodia.
The incident happened late last Thursday at the Thmar Pich, or Diamond Rock casino in Kandal province. Six men arrived at the casino in a car and two motorbikes before firing several shots and throwing a grenade into the casino.

The grenade failed to detonate and a security guard, 52-year-old Chao Rin, was injured in the incident and rushed to hospital. The attack ultimately missed the man believed to be its intended target, a Vietnamese casino owner.
Three of the six suspects were arrested after the event, who police named as Meas Oun, a 52-year-old Cambodian businessman, Tang Young Vien, a 44-year-old Vietnamese casino patron, and Nguyen Yi, a 38-year-old Vietnamese citizen who was also a visitor at the casino.
Police stated that three other Vietnamese nationals are being sought as suspects over the attack. The three suspects who were detained were later charged at Kandal Provincial Court with attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a weapon. The trio face potential prison sentences of ten years each if convicted.
