The authorities in Indiana apprehended a casino robber in the woods close to the property. The suspect walked up to the cashier cage at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg on Saturday night and demanded money while wielding a gun. A witness described the scene, saying that the robber grabbed someone and held them hostage while trying to escape from security personnel.

Law enforcement used a helicopter, drone, and K-9 dogs to track down the robber. They eventually arrested 39-year-old Daniel Birdseye; prosecutors will meet on Monday to finalize the charges.
