Boom Brothers Slots
A wacky trio of mining dwarves and their love of all things explosive form the focus of Boom Brothers, a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot. With the highly-detailed animation Net Entertainment is legendary for and multiple bonus features to help you win big, Boom Brothers is most definitely a wonderfully volatile playing experience. Entirely compatible with Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
Theme
Boom Brothers opens with a very realistically-animated scene set deep inside an underground diamond mining cave. The craziest of the three brothers, a red-headed dwarf with an impossibly huge grin, decides to speed up the mining process with a blast of TNT. After this short film, you find yourself on the playing screen, which features turning gears and symbols set upon chains that roll down as if into the depths of the earth.
Lower value symbols are rendered in an almost steam punk style and represent tools commonly used in mining. They are, in ascending value, a miner's helmet, a cracked bucket, a pick axe and hammer, and a glowing lantern. The higher value symbols are metallic-styled representations of the dwarves themselves. The brown one is the lowest value, the green is next-highest, the orange face comes next and the highest-value symbol of the game is the white dwarf's face.
A simple background track of outdoor noises coupled with pings of whimsical music is not at all unpleasant. When the reels turn, they sound like lightly clattering chains.
Features
Boom Brothers is teeming with fun features that aren't often seen in other video slots. In the Second Chance feature, one of the three dwarves appears on the screen and pulls a lever or throws a bomb to mix things up and give you another chance at earning a winning combination. Sometimes it doesn't result in anything; still, it provides an element of creative fun.
Free Spins also increase the chance you have of winning big. Land three or more Free Spins symbols on the reels and a random number is generated to show you how many spins you won, anywhere from 8 to 50. A 3X multiplier is applied to any prizes you win while free spin, and any time the Free Spin icon appears, you earn one more wager-free spin.
Bonus
The Railtrack Bonus game is one of the highlights of Boom Brothers. Land three Railtrack symbols on an active payline, and you'll find yourself transported into this fun bonus game. In the first stage, your job is to help the dwarf in the cart roll across the reels by laying for him pieces of track across the reels. In the second stage, you'll see the three brother dwarves on three different tracks. You then get to click on one of three carts at the bottom of the screen. Each cart will contain a prize, either a ruby, diamond, gold bar or a number of places you can move. Land on a precious metal picture and your dwarf will move across the screen to grab the prize that's yours.
Limits
20 bet lines combine with 5 bet levels and Boom Brother's coin values vary from 0.01 to 1.00. That means the minimum bet per spin is 0.01 and the maximum you can wager at any one time is 100.00. The biggest coin jackpot offered here equals 112,500 coins.
Play
Though it can be a bit confusing at first to sort out all the bonus features, Boom Brothers is a real delight to play. Visually lighthearted and entertaining, with sound effects to match, it also features easy to use controls in designs that match the game's theme. If you prefer to play it automatically, click on the Advanced Autoplay feature. You can then program when it stops, whether at a determined monetary value or when bonus features are activated.
Compatibility
You'll find that Boom Brothers will compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating platforms and is part of a web-based platform which means no download is required to play this or any other NetENT slot.
